Online Income Masterclass – My Results Using Solo Ads

When I started getting interested in Internet Marketing, I didn’t have a clue what to do or even how to start.

After doing a lot of searching on Google I found a lot of (too much) information on Internet Marketing but the problem was that there was a lot of different information on the same subject.

Everybody had an opinion on how to start with Internet Marketing and that made it only more confusing for a complete newbie like me.

I already mentioned in an earlier blog Lessons Learned From Going Online that if you want to get started in the right way, you need a mentor.  You can read in that who my mentors were.

What I’m going to share with you is my progress with my mentor at that time, James Francis with his Online Income Masterclass.(Update: this program no longer exists)

James went through everything you need to know to get started and he will help you with any problems you encounter.

Before starting with James Francis I already had a website and an autoresponder sequence setup, but I only had a couple of subscribers and had not made any sales yet.

Going through the modules and implementing what I had learned, I finally started to see progress.

My progress is what I want to share with you.

In one of his videos, he teaches you how to set up a squeeze page and a sales funnel.

This was my second squeeze page that I had set up but this was my first sales funnel. The sales funnel I had set up didn’t meet my expectations, so you can say, I wasn’t happy with it.

James did offer to review your sales funnel and give you tips on how to make it better but I decided to do the next best thing.

The next best thing is to use a proven sales funnel which works and as it happens to be, James offers a set of 5 different “Pre-Made Sales Funnels” that you could use.

After purchasing these “Pre Made Sales Funnels” I went through the videos that instruct you how to use these “Pre Made Sales Funnels” and show you which parts of the sales funnel you have to change with your data to make it work.

It’s very easy to do even if you know nothing about HTML or php.

After setting everything up and test-driving it to see if everything worked the way it should, it was time to start driving traffic to my squeeze page.

The fastest way to get traffic is by buying it. A paid traffic source that James recommends and I support that, was buying solo ads.

In super basic terms, a “Solo Ad” is when you (generally) pay someone to mail THEIR email list, on your behalf, using an email swipe with a link to your free opt-in offer squeeze page.

I did just this and had some amazing results. Remember I was using the “Pre-Made Sales Funnels” I purchased from James.

I bought 4 solo ads in a period of 2 months.

For the first two solo ads, I used the same “Pre-Made Sales Funnel” with a Free Traffic Blueprint as a free gift.

As you can see in the table below, for solo ad #1 I bought 100 clicks and received 116. Gained 42 subscribers and had an opt-in rate of 36.2% but made no sales.

As for solo ad #2, I bought 250 clicks and received 268. Gained 119 subscribers and had an opt-in rate of 44.4% and made my first sales ever online.

I made not 1 sale but 6 sales for a total of $59.82.

As you can imagine I was thrilled with these results and very happy that I finally made my first sales.

For solo ads 3 and 4, I used a different “Pre Made Sales Funnel” with Free WordPress Video Tutorials as a free gift.

Looking at the table below for solo ad 3 I bought 100 clicks and received 113. Gained 61 new subscribers had an opt-in rate of 53.98% but made no sales.

Solo ad #4 was truly a winner. I bought 50 clicks and received 62. I gained 46 new subscribers and I had an opt-in rate of an amazing 74.2% and made 4 sales making $71.08 with two of those sales being recurring, which means I get paid again next month.

Here is some more proof from my Aweber account. This screenshot was made a few days after solo ad #4 but is the total of solo ad #3 and #4.

To put things into perspective I bought for $196,  4 solo ads, and made $130,90 in sales.

This means that 268 new subscribers cost me $65.10 which is 0.24 cents per lead.

As you can see having a mentor makes a difference. Without his guidance in his Online Income Masterclass, I wouldn’t have come this far. His teaching is worth every penny I spent.

If you wish to purchase solo ads (where I purchased Solo Ads do not exist anymore, I recommend that you search on Google or search on Facebook for Solo Ad groups.

This is a very detailed post on your experiences, particularly regarding ad swaps. Keep up the momentum.

I haven’t yet used ad swaps as I’ve been using a number of key free methods of list building.
I also have my own products that I’m using to create a greater online presence.

I’m pleased that you’ve written in detail about what you’ve achieved.

    Thanks, and all the best.

    1. Thanks Dez for your kind words.
I haven’t been that active on my blog as I should be but I will keep on writing about my
experiences so that ours can benefit from it.

Ad swaps is a good place to swap with others and buy solo ads but it comes with a monthly cost.
I’ve had the pleasure to review your products and all I can say is that are very good and highly
      recommended.

  2. My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content for you personally?

I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write with regards to here. Again, awesome web log!

  3. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long
as I provide credit and sources back to your weblog?
My blog site is in the very same area of interest as yours and my users would truly
benefit from some of the information you provide here.

Please let me know if this okay with you. Thank
    you!
